SEALED

Four hundred fifty ice blocks are stacked atop lump charcoal. Charcoal is to stabilize the ice blocks and also a metaphor for fire. Each of the ice blocks contain one piece of transparent tracing paper onto which is written one or two lines from my old diaries. The ice prevents the words from being seen and read but as the ice melts the words become visible and because they are written on transparent paper it appears the words are written in ice.
