My roots...

I grew up in a small rural village in Taiwan, my parents were farmers and two of my grandparents were herbalist healers and one a midwife. As a child I witnessed the respect my parents gave to the land and the noble dedication, reverence and care my grandparents shared with my community. Those principles are the invisible elements so strongly represented in my site-specific installations, performances and sculptures.
